Just $1.00, that's what it takes to make a difference. Everyone talks about the "million-dollar smile" but the One Dollar Smile Project is here to prove how much impact only $1.00 can make in someone's life in Bangladesh. My grandfather runs an orphanage for a group of kids, most of whom have been there since childhood. I got the opportunity to meet them a few years ago and that is the day that my perspectives changed. I learned that it takes very little to be happy and we take a lot for granted. These kids were the happiest kids I've ever met. They taught me to have more faith and less fear, because with that I am able to conquer any challenge of life. It was a very humbling experience that inspired me to give. The only mission I have is to inspire the rest of you to see the joy in giving.
In May of 2017, we promised that we would be dedicating $1.00 from every order towards funding for these children. Our goal was to complete this mission by January of 2018. We can proudly announce that the One Dollar Project has been completed through the collective efforts of all you amazing people. We could not be more thankful for the support. On January 31st, 2018, the kids received a new set of clothing, shoes, hats, and attar (perfume oil). Wow Empire is about Unity, Kindness, and Compassion; these words were exhibited when we saw the smiles of these children. Thank you for taking part of this first project. $1.00 from every order will continue to go towards this cause and continue to aid these children every year.
